How Tyreek Hill keeps catching up with the law
Tyreek Hill, the Miami Dolphins NFL star was recently detained by the police on charges of speeding and reckless driving in Miami on 9th of September, 2024.
After that Hill had made a post on Twitter – ‘”Let’s make a change.” The issue has raised many questions about how the police handled the situation with Hill.
Reportedly, Tyreek Hill was driving in his black car when he was asked to pull over by cops. He was asked to lower his window glass. Sensing non-cooperation, an officer asked him to step out of the car. A body cam video showed that Hill was pushed down onto the ground and was handcuffed. Hill also claimed later on that he was also kneed on his back by the cop. He was finally allowed to leave after the issue of two traffic citations.
Hill has had a fabulous run in the current season in the NFL and has quickly established himself as a top NFL talent. However his stellar performances on the field continued to be pulled down by controversies.
While voices are being raised on whether the force used on Hill by the cops was excessive, the tryst of Tyreek Hill with the law is not entirely unfamiliar.
It was only in the previous year when Hill had got entangled in an altercation with a marina worker which broke into a fight.
In June 2023, the NFL player was also in the news for an incident where Sophie Hall, a popular Instagram model had broken her leg at the mansion of Hill in Miami.
Tyreek Hill was also featured in the news on December 12, 2014, for an incident of domestic violence with his girlfriend who was pregnant at that time. Hill was arrested on charges of felony and domestic assault.
News broke out on March 15, 2019, that a battery incident involving Hill had left his 3-year-old child with Espinal with a fractured arm. No charges were eventually framed against the star NFL player.
Tyreek Hill was also found to be involved in an incident on June 20, 2023, wherein it was claimed that he had slapped an employee in the course of a verbal altercation.
On Feb 27, 2024, Sophie Hall decided to pursue legal action against Hill for the incident of breaking her leg at the mansion of Hill. Sophie claimed that Hill was responsible for deliberate force upon her which led to the fracture.
